BEUN Zonguldak Vocational School 2025-2026 Academic General Assembly Meeting was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer.
The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, Director of Zonguldak Vocational School Prof. Dr. Okan Su and academic members attended the meeting held at Zonguldak Vocational School.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer made evaluations on the 2024-2025 academic year. Wishing the 2025-2026 academic year would be beneficial for the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University family, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer emphasized the significance of quality studies the university carries out in the fields of education, arts, culture, and sports.
Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer said, “Zonguldak Vocational School has a significant place at university with its sectoral collaborations and social initiatives, along with its academic success. I believe innovative approaches should be adopted in education. In this respect, having a more active role in the national and international projects, increasing the number of scientific publications, and strengthening the academic collaborations are vital.” Rector Prof. Dr. Özölçer extended his thanks to all academic and administrative staff who contributed to the academic and social development of the Vocational School.
At the beginning of the meeting, Director Prof. Dr. Okan Su gave a presentation on the academic activities during the 2024-2025 academic year. He talked about the initiatives to be taken during the 2025-2026 academic year, academic year plan, the number of academic and administrative staff and the students, renovations of the infrastructure held at the school, completed and ongoing scientific and social projects, and academic studies. Su also talked about international collaborations, Erasmus mobility activities, mutual projects between the university and the industry, career day activities for the students, and field trips and concluded his words thanking Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer who has always supported the Vocational School.
The Rector of BEUN Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer presented the academics who stood out with their scientific studies published in the national and international indexes and administrators who stood out with their high performance, with a certificate of academic publications award and a certificate of appreciation. Following the presentation of the certificates, the meeting ended with a commemorative photo.
