Within the scope of the FIVB Women’s World Volleyball Championship, the final match of the National Women’s Volleyball Team was watched with great enthusiasm at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Sezai Karakoç Cultural Center.

The Final match between Türkiye-Italy, which started at 3.30 pm, was watched by the Vice Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. Bekir Hakan BAKKAL, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Secretary General Prof. Dr. Zehra Safi Öz, senate members, academics, students, and many volleyball lovers at the Sezai Karakoç Cultural Center.

Defeating Japan in the semi-finals 3-1 and reaching the finals for the first time, Sultans of the net, thrilled the nation. While the audience erupted with excitement at every point scored by our National Team, the Sezai Karakoç Cultural Center hosted this thrilling atmosphere.

The National Women’s Volleyball Team in the finals of the FIVB Women’s World Volleyball Championship put up a great fight against its strong opponent, Italy, and finished the tournament as the World Runner-up.
