The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, attended the “University Academic Year Security Measures Meeting” held at the Zonguldak Governorship.
The University Academic Year Security Measures Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Zonguldak Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu, with the participation of the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, district governors, and relevant institutional officials.
The socioeconomical precautions and safety measures that are to be taken in order to ensure a safe academic year for the students are discussed in detail in the meeting. The accommodation needs of students, safety precautions around the campus and dormitories, traffic regulations, and the support for the socio-cultural activities for students were among the meeting agenda items.
BEUN Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, stated the following in the meeting:
“Before the new academic year, projects aimed at meeting our students’ dormitory needs, increasing capacity, and improving service quality are of great importance to us. We continue to provide a safe, peaceful, and qualified education environment in cooperation with the institutions of our city as a university. We see the students who will set foot on the campus as a part of our BEUN family. I would like to emphasize that we will continue to work in order to support our students’ social, cultural, and personal development as well as their academic success. I would like to thank all Zonguldak Governorship staff, particularly Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu, and all institutions on behalf of our university.”
The meeting ended with a discussion of the approaches of the relevant institutions regarding safety measures.
