The Türkiye University Sports Federation (TÜSF)2025-2026 ÜNİLİG Basketball Türkiye Championship Qualifying Group Games were held successfully at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN).
During the games held at the BEUN Indoor Sports Hall on Farabi Campus between December 1 and 5, 2025, teams from various universities engaged in a fierce competition. The organization, held with the wide participation of BEUN students, was completed in the spirit of fair play and sportsmanship. As a result of the eagerly watched games, the rankings emerged as follows:
1. Necmettin Erbakan University
2. Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University
3. Kırklareli University
4. Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University
5. Karabük University
6. Ordu University

Sharing his remarks following the matches, the Rector of BEUN, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, underlined the significance the university places on sports culture and added:
“Our university is a pioneering institution with its faith in the uniting power of sports as well as its academic strength. We are glad to have hosted this event. The interest and the competitive spirit of our students made us proud. We will continue to support our students in their academic studies and sports endeavors. With these feelings and thoughts, I extend my gratitude to our Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, who always support the young athletes of our country and the Ministry of Youth and Sports family; to the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, who support the athletic development of our universities, and the YÖK family; and to TÜSF President and Rector of Bayburt University, Prof. Dr. Mutlu Türkmen, and everyone who contributed to the organization of the championship.”
