
The project, whose organizing committee includes Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Faculty of Sport Sciences academics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tevfik Cem Akalın and Research Assistant İlayda Özelgül, has been deemed worthy of support by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) under the 2237-A Scientific Educational Activities Support Program.
The project titled “Artificial Intelligence Literacy in Sport Sciences and Sport Applications,” conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Nebahat Eler, a faculty member at Gazi University Faculty of Sport Sciences, has been selected for support by TÜBİTAK for the 2025/2 term. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tevfik Cem Akalın from the BEUN Faculty of Sport Sciences serves as an organizing and scientific committee member, while Research Assistant İlayda Özelgül is on the organizing committee.
Contributed by field-expert academics from various universities, the project is a significant step in terms of enhancing artificial intelligence literacy, understanding new-generation sports technologies, and expanding qualified scientific activities.
