The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, and his spouse, Seran Özölçer, attended the 3rd Zonguldak General Trade Fair, organized by ZONSIAD in cooperation with Zonguldak Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Governorship of Zonguldak.
BEUN Rector, Prof. Dr. Özölçer, and his spouse, Seran Özölçer, hosted guests in the university stand and gave information on the departments, programs, projects, and success of the university. They also visited other stands and examined the products and projects of companies.
The works of different faculties and vocational schools attracted great interest. The complimentary food prepared by the BEUN Devrek Vocational School Cookery Program, Devrek Canes made by Cane Application and Research Center, the violins produced by the Department of Instrument Making and Repair, wooden toys produced by Çaycuma Vocational School, and ceramics made by the Gökçebey Vocational School attracted great attention.
Focusing on the significance of the project for Zonguldak, Rector Prof. Dr. Özölçer stated the following:
“Zonguldak General Trade Fair is an important platform that highlights the production power and entrepreneurial potential of our city. As a university, we will continue to contribute to the economic and social development of Zonguldak with our scientific research, projects, and qualified human resources. I believe such organizations will lead to new cooperations both for industry and the university.”
The 3rd Zonguldak General Trade Fair will continue to host its guests until September 14, 2025.
