
The program, held at the Sezai Karakoç Cultural Center, was attended by Deputy Governor Şenol Levent Elmacıoğlu, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel Barış Cücen, Provincial Police Chief Sinan Ergen, BEUN Vice Rector Servet Karasu, as well as members of the provincial and district protocol, teachers, students, and parents.
The program, organized by teachers and students of Zonguldak Science High School, began with a flag ceremony, followed by a moment of silence and the singing of the İstiklal Marşı (the National Anthem of Türkiye). After the opening speech delivered by the school principal Murat Sevindik, a short film describing the process through which Mehmet Akif Ersoy wrote the National Anthem was screened. The program continued with a video presentation featuring primary and secondary school students from across Zonguldak reciting the National Anthem.
On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the adoption of the National Anthem, awards were presented to students who ranked in competitions organized across Zonguldak province. The awards were given by Deputy Governor Şenol Levent Elmacıoğlu, BEUN Vice Rector Servet Karasu, and Provincial Director of National Education Uygar Keskin.
The program concluded with the recitation of poems themed around Mehmet Akif Ersoy and the National Anthem, followed by the staging of an oratorio dedicated to Mehmet Akif Ersoy.
