The National Technology Workshop established at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) under the National Technology Workshops Project Support Program carried out by TÜBİTAK has been opened for student use. Students who want to develop projects, build prototypes, and carry out technology-focused studies will be able to use the workshop through an appointment-based system.
National Technology Workshop opened at BEUN as part of the National Technology Workshops Project initiated by TÜBİTAK in order to support involvement of young people in the research, development, and production process of Türkiye in line with the National Technology Initiative is not open to use.
The workshop opened with the participation of Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır at BEUN Faculty of Engineering is now ready to be used as a significant application center where students can transform their innovative ideas into projects and projects into products with its strong technical infrastructure.
It Will Strengthen the Student Projects
BEUN National Technology Workshop provides students with education and mentoring opportunities as well as prototyping devices, electronical and mechanical development areas, technical equipment, consumables. With the workshops, students will be able to manage the concept generation, design, prototype production, test and product development phases in a more modern atmosphere. Being a significant center for students preparing for TÜBİTAK, TEKNOFEST, and other national and international technological competitions, the workshop will contribute to the development of innovative culture and entrepreneurship promoting interdisciplinary studies.
It Will Serve Through an Appointment-Based System
Students who wish to use the workshop will be able to plan their appointments through the link down. Thus, they will be able to reach the necessary technical infrastructure in an efficient way.
Rector Özölçer: “A Production Center That Will Realize Their Dreams”
In his remarks on the subject, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer stated the following:
“We are glad that National Technology Workshop, which is opened in line with the Türkiye Century Vision and National Technology Initiative of the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is now ready for use. I wholeheartedly believe that this valuable investment, which was inaugurated with the participation of Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, will contribute to the production excitement of youth.
I would like to extend my gratitude to the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, President of the Council of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, and President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın for their strong vision in promoting technology focused production culture in higher education and their support in bringing the project to the university.
Producing, researching and developing young people are the strengths of our country. I invite the students who are interested in this field to the National Technology Workshop to make use of this opportunity, transform their ideas into projects, and projects to added value.
