The December 2025 issue of the Turkish Journal of Diabetes and Obesity, published in cooperation with Turkish Association for the Studies of Obesity by Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Obesity and Diabetes Application and Research Center, has met its readers.
Contributing to the scientific world, the December 2025 issue of the journal, which was first published in 2017 and has been listed in TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM TR index since 2019, was published. The research articles of the abstracts presented at the 13th National Obesity and Associated Diseases Congress were published in the journal that brings together authentic and multidisciplinary studies in the fields of obesity and diabetes.
The Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Prof. Dr. Taner Bayraktaroğlu stated that significant steps have been taken to enhance national-international visibility, publication quality and scientific context in accordance with the collaboration protocol signed with Turkish Association for the Studies of Obesity. Prof. Dr. Bayraktaroğlu emphasized that each article was assessed meticulously in the evaluation process in order to improve the scientific quality of the journal. He expressed his thanks particularly to the BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, writers, referees, advisory board, language editors, editorial board, Directorate of Library and Documentation and publishing house.
