The “Educational Institution Administrator Training Program,” organized by the Presidency of the National Education Academy with contributions from academics at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Ereğli Faculty of Education and Teoman Duralı Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, with the aim of improving the professional and managerial competencies of administrators who will serve in educational institutions, has been completed.
Strong Contribution from BEUN to the Education Administrators of the Future
The program was conducted in three separate seminar periods in June, July, and September. Representing BEUN, Deputy Dean of Ereğli Faculty of Education Assoc. Prof. Hasan Yücel Ertem, Faculty of Education academics Assoc. Prof. Erhan Yeşilyurt, Assoc. Prof. Selçuk Turan, and Research Assistant Dr. Tuncay Karalık, as well as Prof. Dr. Yücel Namal and Assist. Prof. Yasemin Yeşilyaprak from Teoman Duralı Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, took part in the program.
BEUN academics contributed to the professional development and management capacities of education administrators throughout the program through the courses they taught and the practical activities they conducted in line with their fields of expertise.
Speaking at the closing ceremony held following the program, Zonguldak Provincial Director of National Education Uygar Keskin emphasized the importance of cooperation between BEUN and the Ministry of National Education. Keskin stated that the program provided a highly valuable platform not only for improving the professional and managerial competencies of education administrators but also for bringing academic knowledge together with practical experience gained in the field.
At the end of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation and plaques were presented to BEUN academics by Director Keskin in recognition of their educational support for the Educational Institution Administrator Training Program.
