"A Cooperation Protocol on the Provision of Campus Services by İŞKUR" was signed between Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) and Zonguldak Provincial Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), to support students' career planning, enhance their employability, and prepare them for professional life before graduation .
The protocol was signed during a ceremony held at the Rectorate by BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer and Okan Şentürk, Provincial Director of İŞKUR Zonguldak.
A Strong Bridge Will Be Built Between the University and the World of Work Through Campus Career Guidance
Under the signed protocol, "İŞKUR Campus" will be established within the Career Centre of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University to help students gain a better understanding of the labour market, plan their careers more consciously, and prepare more effectively for employment after graduation.
Career and employment counsellors from İŞKUR will provide students with both individual and group counselling services on a wide range of topics, including the labour market, career planning, CV preparation, job search strategies, interview techniques, career counselling, and working life. In addition, job search skills training, career seminars, and information programmes will be organised to support students' professional development. Students will also be guided to make more effective use of the On-the-Job Training Programme, the İŞKUR Youth Programme, and active labour market programmes, enabling them to engage more closely with industry and gain practical experience.

Following the signing ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer made the following remarks:
"As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, we attach great importance to educating our students as well-equipped individuals with strong professional competencies, well-defined career goals, and the ability to meet the expectations of the world of work. In line with this vision, I sincerely believe that the protocol we have signed with the Zonguldak Provincial Directorate of İŞKUR will make significant contributions to our students' career development. Through İŞKUR Campus, which will operate within our University's Career Centre, our students will be able to receive professional career counselling from the early years of their education, gain a closer understanding of the labour market, and benefit from expert guidance on many subjects, including CV preparation, interview techniques, and career planning. At the same time, they will have the opportunity to strengthen their professional experience by making more effective use of the On-the-Job Training Programme, the İŞKUR Youth Programme, and active labour market services.
The cooperation established between the University and public institutions is an important investment in the future of our young people. I believe that this meaningful protocol, which will enable our students to establish stronger connections with industry throughout their education, will bring significant benefits to both our University and our valued students. With these thoughts and sentiments, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Minister of Labour and Social Security, Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, our General Director of the Turkish Employment Agency, Samet Güneş, and the entire İŞKUR family for their strong support in promoting the employment, professional development, and career planning of our young people. I would also like to thank our Provincial Director, Okan Şentürk, and all colleagues who contributed to the implementation of this cooperation.
