A total of 13 projects submitted by student societies at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) have achieved significant success by qualifying for support under the University Student Clubs Support Program (ÜNİDES).
The results for the 6th Term applications of ÜNİDES—a program managed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, General Directorate of Youth Services, aimed at contributing to the personal, social, cultural, and athletic development of young people—have been announced.
Across Türkiye, a total of 6,659 applications were submitted by state and foundation universities. Following the review by the Evaluation Commission, 1,378 projects were selected for support. Among these, 13 projects from BEUN student societies—consisting of 4 national and 9 local initiatives—were included in the list of supported projects.
The creative and innovative projects presented by the student societies have once again demonstrated the productivity of university youth in scientific, cultural, and social fields.

Expressing his great satisfaction with the success achieved by student societies under ÜNİDES, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer made the following remarks:
“As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University—a living, producing, knowledge-sharing, and student-friendly center of academic excellence—we do not only prepare our students for their career journeys through undergraduate and graduate education. We also contribute to their growth as multifaceted individuals by supporting their social, cultural, and athletic development.
In line with this, our student societies continue to achieve significant milestones on various platforms with projects that enable the growth of creative ideas. Following the successes achieved in previous terms of ÜNİDES, it brings us great pride that 13 projects—4 national and 9 local—have qualified for support this term as well. These efforts put forth by our students provide essential contributions to both their academic growth and their social and cultural interactions.
I wholeheartedly congratulate all our students and society advisors who have earned support with their successful projects, and I hope for the successful implementation of these initiatives. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the Ministry of Youth and Sports family, the General Directorate of Youth Services, and especially to our Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, for implementing this valuable program for the development of our youth.”
