
The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer attended the opening ceremony of Turkish-Hungarian Friendship Park, organized in Çatalağzı.
Ambassador of Hungary, Victor Matis, Kilimli District Governor Kübra Demirer, Zonguldak Provincial Head of the AK Party, Mustafa Çağlayan, Zonguldak Provincial Head of the MHP (Nationalist Movement Party), Çağatay İpekçi, Çatalağzı Mayor Yavuz Palabaş, district protocol officials, academic staff, and many citizens attended the ceremony.
Sharing his thoughts at the ceremony, Ambassador Victor Matis stated that it is a source of happiness for them to have the Turkish-Hungarian Friendship Park in Çatalağzı. Ambassador Matis, “This park is a valuable work that strengthens the cultural ties and friendship between our two nations. I would like to thank those who contributed to this project.”
In her speech, District Governor Kübra Demirer emphasized that they are proud and happy to have such a valuable Project realized in Çatalağzı. Demirer, symbolizing the friendship of the Turkish and Hungarian nations, this park will add value to our district. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this Project, particularly Ambassador Victor Matis.”
After seeing around the park, the ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo.
