Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), received his certificate of appointment at the ceremony held at Presidency of Council of Higher Education (YÖK) from the President of YÖK Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar.
Certificate of Appointment ceremony was organized for academics appointed as rectors with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the Presidency of Council of Higher Education. During the ceremony in YÖK, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University was presented with a certificate of appointment by YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar.

Speaking at the ceremony, YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar congratulated the academics who were appointed as rectors with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and said:
“We attach importance to each of our universities accurately assessing its own potential, areas of strength, and the opportunities offered by the region in which it is located, and turning these into a strategic advantage. Our vision of Higher Education 2030 is based on the approach of our universities becoming institutions that differentiate through their own competencies and stand out with the value they produce. With this understanding, we will collectively further advance the scientific capacity and international impact of our higher education system. I wish their new positions to be beneficial for our rectors, universities, and higher education community, and wish our rector professors every success.”

BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who received his certificate of appointment from YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, stated that his new position is a great honor for him and said:
“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for entrusting me with the rectorship of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, one of our country’s well-established and distinguished higher education institutions. I would also like to express my gratitude to the President of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, for his valuable support in my appointment to this important position. I feel great pride and happiness in serving as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University. In the coming period, we will work together with great effort and determination to further advance our university’s strong academic background, well-established history, and university-industry cooperation; to achieve greater success in the fields of education, research, innovation, and social contribution; and to prepare our students for the future in the best possible way.
