The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer received Mustafa Özkan Gün, the Provincial Director of Health of Zonguldak, in his office.
During the visit held at the Rector’s office, evaluations were made on the mutual initiatives and collaborations between Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University and Zonguldak Provincial Directorate of Health. Expressing his pleasure for the kind visit, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer stated that the strong collaboration between the two institutions would result in academic and practical gains. He emphasized that initiatives taken particularly in the field of health strengthen information sharing and contribute to the development of health services.
Highlighting that the universities are not limited to just educational and research activities but institutions that contribute to social development, Özölçer stated that collaborations in the field of health contribute to the development of health services in the region.

Extending his thanks to Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer for the kind hospitality and qualified collaborations between the Univeristy and Provincial Directorate, the Provincial Director of Health of Zonguldak Mustafa Özkan Gün stated that BEUN’s academic backgorund and initiatives in the field of health is significant for the region. Hoping that the there will be many more collaborations between BEUN and Zonguldak Provincial Director of Health in the following years, Dr. Gün congratulated Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University before Rector özölçer and wished them success.
The Book Highlighting the National and International Achievements and Visionary Projects Was Presented
As part of the visit, the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, presented a copy of the book titled "Bir Asırlık Birikim, Yeni Bir Vizyon: Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit Üniversitesi" (A Century of Experience, A New Vision: Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University) to the Provincial Director of Health of Zonguldak, Mustafa Özkan Gün. The book highlights the university’s academic achievements between 2022 and 2025, including its national and international collaborations, accomplishments and visionary projects contributing to social awareness.
The visit concluded with mutual best wishes and a commemorative photo.
