The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, attended the Academic and Administration Centers Workshop of the Western Black Sea Universities Association (WBUA) hosted by Kocaeli University. The workshop was attended by rectors and administrators of the regional universities.

The workshop started with the informative speech of the Rector of Kocaeli University, Prof. Dr. Cantürk, on the host university. Following his speech in the Senate Hall, attendants visited Kocaeli University Bilimpark and the Career and Innovation Center.
The rectors of the member universities attended the closing ceremony of the WBUA Academic and Administrative Centers Workshop held in Kartepe Park Hotel. Rector Prof. Dr. Nuh Zafer Cantürk emphasized the significance of joint projects and culture and stated that the collaborations made among the universities contribute to the academy in a regional and national sense.

Evaluating the WBUA Academic and Administrative Centers Workshop, the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University stated the following:
“The cooperation among the universities in this region is significant in terms of enhancing the efficiency in the academic and administrative processes. Such workshops that focus on shared wisdom and experience, and sustainable collaborations play an important role in the development of our higher education institutions. As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, the most deep-rooted academic institution of the region, we are glad to be a part of this process. I thank all Kocaeli University Family, particularly Rector Prof. Dr. Nuh Zafer Cantürk, who contributed to this event. I wish this workshop were beneficial to all Western Black Sea Universities' families and that the work brings success. I would also like to thank wholeheartedly all the institutions that attended the workshop.”
Following the closing ceremony, the event ended with a commemorative photo of university rectors and attendants.
