The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, and his wife Seran Özölçer visited the State Conservatory Instrument Making Workshop together with the speaker of the conference titled "The Concept of Martyrdom and Reunion in Turkish Culture”, Dr. Sait Başer and his wife Fatma Başer.
The Director of BEUN State Conservatory, Prof. Dr. İlker Kömürcü, the Head of the Department of Instrument Making and Repair, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sinan Uçar and academics Lecturer Cem Dertsiz and Lecturer Rıza Yıldırımkaya were present during the visit. The guests were informed about the production process, materials, and production techniques of the violin and the ney designed at the Department of Instrument Making and Repair. The contributions of the studies carried out at the workshop to the quality of the university in the fields of arts and culture.
