Prof. Dr. Hilal Ayoğlu, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation and the Division of Intensive Care at the Faculty of Medicine of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), has been awarded the title of “ESAIC Patient Safety Ambassador” by the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC), one of the most prestigious scientific organizations in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care in Europe.

The certificate, presented within the scope of ESAIC 2026 Congress in Rotterdam, Natherland between 5-8 June 2026, constitutes as an appreciation given to studies carried out internationally in order to improve the quality standards in health services and support safe health applications.
