Rector Özölçer: “We adopt the quality culture in all units”
The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer highlighted the deep-rooted history and quality-focused vision of the university in his remarks on the accreditation process:
“Established in 1924 and rooted in the Higher School of Mining Engineering, our university continues to increase the number of its sustainable and qualified studies and strengthen its quality focused educational mission. Adopting the quality culture, our university carries out its activities devoted to continuous development and improvement. In this respect, I am glad the site visiting phase of the accreditation process was completed successfully in Faculty of Engineering, just like other faculties. Such evaluations are critical in making the quality standards of our vocational programs sustainable and increasing the competitive power of the students and alumni. We aim to improve our education quality by determining the aspects that are strong or open for improvement during the accreditation process. With this in mind, I would like to express my thanks to MÜDEK representatives who carried out the process meticulously and as well as the contributing academic and administrative staff and wish them success in their endeavors.”
