The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer issued a message on the occasion of October 29th, Republic Day.
Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer expressed the following in his message:
“We are experiencing the joy and pride of celebrating the 102nd anniversary of our Republic. The Republic of Türkiye, founded under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with the faith in independence and the heroic struggle of our noble nation, was proclaimed and declared to the world a century ago.
Established amid great hardships and limitations, the Republic of Türkiye today confidently marches toward the future with the progress it has achieved in every field—from science and technology to education, industry, sports, and the arts. Guided by the vision of the ‘Century of Türkiye,’ our nation continues to shape a strong future inspired by its glorious past.
As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, we are committed to raising responsible individuals who progress under the light of science, inquire and produce, embrace their love for the homeland and nation, and uphold our moral, spiritual, and national values in line with the vision of the Century of Türkiye.
With these sentiments, I commemorate with gratitude, respect, and mercy Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, and his heroic comrades-in-arms, and I extend my deepest appreciation to our veterans. I wholeheartedly congratulate our noble nation, our esteemed fellow citizens of Zonguldak, and all members of the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University family on the occasion of the 29th October Republic Day.”
