Handicrafts course organized by Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) and Zonguldak Family and Social Services collaboration brought together the relatives of martyrs and veterans with art, showing an example of social solidarity. Participants who completed the course received their achievement certificates.
The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, Zonguldak Province Family and Social Services Director Mehmet Türkmen Köse, District Chairman of AK Party, Vice Directors of Family and Social Services, and President of the Association for Solidarity and Mutual Aid of Martyrs’ Families attended the closing ceremony.
Speaking at the event, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer highlighted the significance of this collaboration and added:
“We aimed to produce a meaningful work with the courses we organized with Zonguldak Province Directorate of Family and Social Services for the valuable families of martyrs and veterans. It is one of the most important duties to contribute to the socialization of martyr and veteran families with the handicraft courses and to exhibit their works of art to help them be a part of society. With this in mind, I would like to thank especially the Director Mehmet Türkmen Köse, academic and administrative members of our university, Family and Social Services family, valuable families of martyrs and veterans, and wish that the efforts will continue and grow stronger.”
It was aimed to strengthen social connections and contribute to the personal development of the participants in this valuable project made in collaboration with the Zonguldak Province Directorate of Family and Social Services. Achievement certificates were given by the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, and Zonguldak Province Family and Social Services Director Mehmet Türkmen Köse.
