Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), one of Turkey’s most established higher education institutions, has achieved significant success according to the 2025 YKS Placement Results. Holding the title of the Republic’s first University, BEUN is preparing for the new academic year with a strong start, having been selected by a total of 5469 students from 81 cities and seven geographical regions of Turkey.

According to the 2025 YKS Placement results, 3136 students were placed in associate programs, and 2333 students were placed in undergraduate programs. A total of 5469 students filled 99% of the university quota. According to the data, BEUN proved its rise in quality-focused education with a 99% occupancy rate once again.

Furthermore, the distribution of the students placed at BEUN for the 2025-2026 Academic Year reflects the nationwide impact and the high level of interest from every region.  Of the total placements, 3036 associate degree and 2288 undergraduate students chose BEUN through the general placement process. Additionally, 20 top-ranking high school graduates enrolled in associate programs, while 23 enrolled in graduate programs. Under the special quota for women over 34, 80 students were accepted into associate programs and 22 students into undergraduate programs- highlighting the university’s commitment to accessible and inclusive education.

It is the result of the innovative approach and dynamic structure of our university, aligned with the needs of the era, that we have achieved a 100% occupancy rate in the newly launched programs, such as software development, artificial intelligence, game development, and programming, and an almost 100% occupancy rate overall.
