In his remarks on the concert, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer emphasized the significance of art on the social solidarity and cultural perseverance and stated:

“It is a source of happiness and pride to listen to folk songs, which are part of the most significant aspects of our culture in this meaningful program. Our folk songs are the heritage that carried the nation’s memory, happiness, and sorrows into the future.

As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, we consider development in the areas of culture and arts as significant as scientific production. Art is a universal language that enriches one’s aesthetic world and strengthens social connection.
I would like to thank the Kozlu Directorate of Public Training Center community, valuable chorus, and those who were there with us for their contribution to this meaningful organization. Our university will continue with determination to support arts and artists, preserve our cultural heritage and share it with the future generations.”
