As a part of TEKNOFEST, ZBEÜ OVAT Team of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), which made it to the finals of the Robotaxi Full-Scale Autonomous Vehicle Competition held at Bilişim Vadisi, was visited by Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın. Selçuk Bayraktar, Minister Fatih Kacır, and TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Aydın met with the young engineers from BEUN and wished them success.

Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University  ZBEÜ OVAT Technology Team is in the finals of the Robotaxi Full-Scale Autonomous Vehicle Competition held under TEKNOFEST, the first and only event in the fields of aviation, space, and technology in Türkiye. The competition organized by TÜBİTAK and Bilişim Vadisi continues with great participation on the tracks of Bilişim Vadisi in Gebze, Kocaeli.

In the event, ZBEÜ OVAT technology team proudly represents BEUN in the finals of the Robotaxi Full-Scale Autonomous Vehicle Competition. The ZBEÜ OVAT Team, one of the 45 teams that successfully passed the preliminary selection in the “Unique Vehicle” and “Ready Vehicle” categories among 568 applicants, is thrilled to be in the finals with their Autonomous Vehicle.

In the Finals, the Chairman of Baykar and TEKNOFEST and the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees in Turkish Technology Team (T3 Foundation), Selçuk Bayraktar, the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and the President of TÜBİTAK, Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, visited ZBEÜ OVAT Team. Being informed about the vehicle the students have designed, the guests showed interest in the team and signed the vehicle, wishing them success in the competition.

ZBEÜ OVAT, thrilled to be a part of the event organized with the technological infrastructure and training support of Bilişim Vadisi, stands out in the competition with its engineering skills.

Aiming to get full points from the jury with its unique design and advanced autonomous driving systems, ZBEÜ OVAT Team continues to work to represent BEUN at the national level.
