Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Faculty of Theology Board Meeting was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer.
The meeting held at the Doç. Dr. Ali Arslan Conference Hall, was attended by BEUN Rector and the Acting Dean of Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, vice deans and academics.
In his opening speech, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer made general evaluations on the 2024-2025 Academic Year. Rector Prof. Dr. Özölçer emphasized that Faculty of Theology is in a significant position with its academic studies as well as its social, cultural, and social initiatives and sectoral collaborations. Prof. Dr. Özölçer underlined that it is extremely significant in making BEUN Faculty of Theology a popular choice that the faculty will raise field-experienced students who consider research as the main principle in their undergraduate and graduate education, adopting the new perspectives of the 21st century in the light of interdisciplinary studies, and will be role models in the future. Emphasizing the need to be more active in the national and international projects, increase the number of qualified scientific publications, and strengthen the academic collaborations, Özölçer noted the significant development in academic and social activities of Faculty of Theology. He also thanked the academic and administrative staff who contributed to this progress.
