The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, welcomed the team of the project titled “Numerical Modeling of the Impact of Harbor Silting and Shoreline Change on Real Estate Value: A Case of Alaplı Fishing Port”, carried out by Ankara University and Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, in his office.
Project Coordinator and a Faculty Member from Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Yeşim Tanrıvermiş, and Ankara University academics Dr. Mehmet Ülger, Çağla Dalkıran, Hakkı Kocamani, and Sıla Nazile Tunçbilek, along with the project member, BEUN Alaplı Vocational School Director, Prof. Dr. Hatice Burçin Şolt, were present in the visit held in the Rector’s office on Farabi Campus.
Thanking the project team for their kind visit, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer said, “The joint scientific collaborations with our universities are highly valuable. This study on the Alaplı Fishing Port will contribute to the future regional planning process. We are pleased to offer solutions to regional problems through our academic contributions. I congratulate the project team for their significant work and wish them success in their endeavors.”
Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer was informed about the Alaplı Fishing Port and the ongoing research by the project team.
