Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) distributed “Eco-Friendly Children Education Kits” to the students of Esenköy 15 Temmuz Primary School in order to raise environmentally conscious individuals of the future.
BEUN Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Şenol Hakan Kutoğlu, Kozlu District Director of National Education İsmail Aksoy, Kozlu District Branch Manager of National Education Bahattin Girgin, Provincial Branch Manager of National Education Volkan Atılgan, and the Principle of Esenköy 15 Temmuz Primary School Hasan Karamanoğlu attended the program held in Kozlu.
Prepared as part of the “Zero-Waste Project” and carried out in the care of the First Lady Mrs. Emine Erdoğan aiming to control recyclable waste, “Eco-Friendly Children Education Kits” were presented to the students by Prof. Dr. Şenol Hakan Kutoğlu. Thanks to the education kit that teaches zero-waste and recycling to children, students will have the chance to spend their free time productively and develop a sense of responsibility towards nature. It is aimed to raise awareness on protecting the environment, sorting waste, and sustainable living habits.
