Zonguldak Provincial Director of National Education Uygar Keskin, Memur-Sen Zonguldak Provincial Representative and Education-Bir-Sen Zonguldak Branch Chairman Kamuran Aşkar, Zonguldak Provincial Representative of the Turkish Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) Yusuf İslam Karakurt, and SF Chair Factory Chairman of the Board Ali Karakaş and the accompanying delegations visited Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his office and wished him success in his new position.

During the reception held at the Rector’s office, the guests wished Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy that his new position would be beneficial for the higher education community and the BEUN family. During the visit, evaluations were also made regarding strengthening Zonguldak’s educational infrastructure, supporting students’ academic, social, and cultural development, and strengthening university-industry cooperation through production-oriented projects.

Thanking his guests for their kind visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Ulusoy emphasized that universities are the socioeconomic and sociocultural driving forces of the cities in which they are located and said:

“As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, our goal is not only to increase our University’s academic success but also to prepare our students for the future as qualified and well-equipped individuals and to further strengthen university-industry cooperation.
