Representatives of the public sector, business community and local governments paid a congratulatory visit to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, who was appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit Univeristy (BEUN) with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

During the visits held at the Rectr’s Office, Kilimli District Governor Kübra Demirer, Chairman of AK Party Çaycuma District Organization Birol Yiğit and his delegation, Mukhtar of İnivez Neighbourhood Hüseyin Cevher, Provincial Chairman of the Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation Gökmen Karali, Chairman of the Zonguldak Association of Construction Contactors Mecit Aydın, Zonguldak businessperson Mehmet Mercimek wished that Ulusoy’s new position would be beneficial for the university, city, and the academic community.

As part of the visits, Zonguldak’s regional development plan, transforming university-public-industry collaboration into employment-oriented projects, city-university integration and strengthening the social and academic infrastructure provided for the students were discussed.

Expressing his gratitude for the visits, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy stated the following:

“As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, we aim to develop a sustainable collaboration with public institutions, local governments, and business community as well as providing students with a quality-based education. I wholeheartedly believe that collaborations made with local governments and business community will contribute to the industrial, economic, and sociocultural infrastructure of the city and the future of our students.
