The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, hosted a senior student in the Department of Computer Engineering, Yusuf Nas, who achieved great success by identifying a critical security vulnerability in the systems of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in his office.
During the visit to the Rector’s office, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Servet Karasu and the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering Prof. Dr. Ozan Artun were present.
Appreciation from NASA and Making it to the Honorary List
BEUN student Yusuf Nas identified a critical security vulnerability in NASA's systems, and during the process of resolving this vulnerability, Nas worked in coordination with the NASA team. This significant contribution in this international arena was awarded with an Appreciation Letter, and his name was put on the “Honorary List”.
