Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökbulut: “We Are Raising Individuals Who Produce Rather Than Passively Use Technology”
Project advisor Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökbulut made the following remarks:
“Within the scope of the project for village schools, for which TÜBİTAK issued a call for the first time this year, the project we prepared with our graduate students during the course process was found worthy of support. Within the scope of this project, we brought our academic knowledge and experience to students studying at a village school. We aimed to introduce our students to new technologies, teach them how technology can be used in the natural environment rather than being used passively, and increase their technological and scientific literacy levels. Through the training sessions and activities we prepared over three days, we aimed to explain to the students how knowledge should be used correctly together with technology.”
