BEUN Ereğli Faculty of Education 2025-2026 Academic Meeting was held with the participation of Rector Özölçer.
The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Azar, and academic members attended the meeting held at Ereğli Faculty of Education.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer made evaluations on the 2025-2026 academic year. Wishing that the 2025-2026 academic year fall term would be beneficial for the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University family, Rector Prof. Dr. Özölçer stated that he believed the BEUN Ereğli Faculty of Education would produce many more qualified academic studies. He emphasized that BEUN Ereğli Faculty of Education is in a significant position with its social and cultural initiatives as well as its academic success. Rector Özölçer stated that the faculty will raise field-experienced students who consider research as the main principle in their undergraduate and graduate education, adopting the new perspectives of the 21st century in the light of interdisciplinary studies, and will be role models in the future. Emphasizing the need to be more active in the national and international projects, increase the number of qualified scientific publications, and strengthen the academic collaborations, Özölçer noted the significant development in academic and social activities of Ereğli Faculty of Education. He also thanked the academic and administrative staff who contributed to this progress.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Azar gave a presentation on the academic and research activities as well as social contributions made during the 2024-2025 academic year. Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Azar talked about the initiatives to be taken during the 2025-2026 academic year, academic year planning, and ongoing projects and thanked the BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer for his support.
The Rector of BEUN Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer presented the academics who stood out with their scientific studies published in the national and international indexes and administrators who stood out with their high performance, with a certificate of academic publications award and a certificate of appreciation. Following the presentation of the certificates, the meeting ended with a commemorative photo.
