Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) continues to strengthen its academic staff in line with its internationalization vision. In this context, Prof. Dr. Tolga Fikret Tözüm, a faculty member of the Department of Periodontology at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) College of Dentristry, has been reappointed as a part time professor within the Faculty of Dentistry at BEUN under Article 46 (Additional) of the Higher Education Law No.2547.

Reappointment of Prof. Dr. Tolga Fikret Tözüm, who stood out with his scientific studies in the field of Periodontology, publications, and international experience, is considered as a significant step that increases academic strength and scientific production of BEUN. BEUN aims to increase the educational quality through international academic gain, promote scientific production, and provide its students with the opportunity to compete on the global scale.
