Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) strengthened its academic staff with the appointment of 19 academics, including 8 professors and 11 associate professors. Appointments are considered to be a clear sign of BEUN's commitment to advancing its vision in education and research.
The Executive Board Meeting was held at the Senate Hall, under the chairmanship of Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, and attended by the Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Şenol Hakan Kutoğlu, Prof. Dr. Bekir Hakan Bakkal, Prof. Dr. Servet Karasu, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Zehra Safi Öz and senate members. During the meeting, robing ceremony was held for 8 professors, and 11 academics were appointed as associate professors.

In his ramarks during the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer stated the significance of new appointments in the institutional development of the university an stated the following:
“These appointments, we carry out in order to strengthen the academic staff of our university, enhance scientific productivity and bring the research quality to the top level, are a clear sign that Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University take strong steps into the future in line with its vision. Extensive knowledge, experience, and academic background of the valuable professors and associate professors will contribute to the academic and social development of our students and strengthen the position of our university in the national and international community.
Our valuable members of various fields from education and engineering to health and social sciences will strengthen our university with their new titles and take us to higher levels in visibility among academic community. I wish them health, peace, and success in their academic lives and hope this academic journey will lead to many successful studies. I would like to express my thanks to my colleagues in this process and believe that new academic appointments will contribute to our university, city, and country.”
