
Upon the announcement of the 2025–2026 5th Term ÜNİDES results, 1,044 projects were granted support among 3,764 applications submitted by state and foundation universities. Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University achieved great success with the acceptance of 13 projects—11 local and 2 national—holding the 9th place among 157 state and foundation universities.
The results of the student project applications under the 2025-2026 5th term University Student Clubs Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES) that aims to contribute to the personal, social, sportive, and cultural development of the youth, implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, General Directorate of Youth Services, were announced.
Among the 3,764 project applications from state and foundation universities across Türkiye, a total of 1,044 projects —295 national and 749 local —were granted support. Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Student Clubs achieved a remarkable success with a total of 13 project acceptances, including 2 national and 11 local.
With this result, BEUN ranked 9th nationwide, together with four universities, reaffirming once again the innovative, productive, and socially engaged spirits of its students.

Emphasizing the pride they felt for the students’ success at ÜNİDES, the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, stated the following:
"At Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, which is alive 24/7, a productive, knowledge-sharing, qualified academic institution, we not only prepare our students for their career paths through undergraduate and graduate programs, we also support them to become well-established individuals in the academic community along with the international scientific and business world by contributing to their social, cultural, artistic and sportive development. In this context, the student clubs continue to achieve success in various platforms by providing dynamic and innovative studies that are open to creative ideas. In 2024-2025, our students achieved remarkable success in ÜNİDES projects, which were implemented in four terms.
Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Student Clubs achieved a remarkable success with a total of 13 projects accepted, including 2 national and 11 local, on the 5th term of University Student Clubs Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES) implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, General Directorate of Youth Services.
Eleven local projects were granted 825,000 TL, while two national projects were granted 250,000 TL, totaling 1,075,000 TL. The fact that more projects were granted support each passing term is a sign of the significance we attach to the ÜNİDES program. The fact that 13 projects were granted support is a clear outcome of the significant success of our students achieved on various platforms by providing creative ideas and producing dynamic and innovative projects. The success our students achieved not only contributes to their academic development but also provides valuable opportunities for social and cultural interaction. We believe that each passing year, the success and activities of the student clubs will continue to increase. I would like to express my gratitude to our Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the entire General Directorate of Youth Services for offering such meaningful opportunities for the personal, social, and professional development of our students. I also extend my congratulations to our students whose projects have been accepted and to our esteemed academic advisors, and I wish them success in their future endeavors.”
