The Vice Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. Şenol Hakan Kutoğlu, attended the ceremony of the 103rd anniversary of Victory Day, organized under the coordination of the Zonguldak Governorate. 

Zonguldak Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu, Vice Chairman of CHP (The Republican People’s Party) and Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz, Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem, Black Sea Regional Command Marshall Mustafa Güzel, The Vice Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Prof. Dr. Şenol Hakan Kutoğlu, province protocol, political party members, nongovernmental organizations, and many citizens attended the ceremony.

The ceremony started with the wreath laying at the Atatürk Monument.  Zonguldak Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu, Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem, and Colonel Mustafa Güzel laid a wreath at the monument. The ceremony continued with a moment of silence in memory of our martyrs and singing of the National Anthem.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s message for the August 30 Victory Day was delivered in the ceremony. The procession followed the ceremony in front of the Zonguldak Governorate Building. Garrison Command personnel gave talks on the significance of Victory Day. Students recited poems related to the glorious August 30. Turkish folk dances performed by the folkloric teams were appreciated by the audience.

The celebration ended with the congratulatory ceremony in the Zonguldak Governor’s Office.
