The Spor Toto Judo Super League Competitions, organized by the Turkish Judo Federation in Ankara between 26–28 December 2025, were held with the participation of 113 athletes from 14 clubs. Berat Hıdır and Burak İsmail Şengür, students of the Coaching Education Department of the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) and national athletes, won the bronze medal by achieving third place together with their clubs.
Successfully representing BEUN and Zonguldak, the national athletes drew attention with their outstanding performances in a high-level organization such as the Super League.

In a statement regarding the achievement, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer expressed his pride in the students’ success and stated:
“This achievement attained by our students in a high-level organization such as the Spor Toto Super League is a concrete reflection of determination, belief, and sporting discipline. The bronze medal won by our Faculty of Sport Sciences Coaching Education Department students and national athletes, Berat Hıdır and Burak İsmail Şengür, together with their clubs, is not only an individual success but also a strong indicator of the value our university places on sports and athletes. Indeed, every success our students achieve on national and international platforms reflects our university’s holistic approach to education in both academic and athletic fields. Thanks to our experienced academic staff, strong physical infrastructure, and athlete-friendly approach, it gives us great satisfaction to see our young athletes succeed in such prestigious organizations. With these thoughts and feelings, I would like to express my gratitude, first and foremost, to our Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, and the entire Ministry of Youth and Sports family for their continuous support of young athletes across our country. I also extend my thanks to the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, and the YÖK family for supporting the athletic development of our universities.
