The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer had his iftaar with students at Civilization Studies and Values Education Application and Research Center (MEDEM).
An iftar program organized at MEDEM, located on the Farabi Campus of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), was held with strong participation. Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, who attended the program upon MEDEM’s invitation, came together with students at the iftar table. Academic and administrative staff as well as citizens of Zonguldak also attended the event.
Before the iftar, Rector Özölçer closely engaged with the students present at MEDEM and had conversations with them. Sharing the iftar meal with the students, Rector Özölçer listened to their requests and expectations throughout the evening, during which sincere and heartfelt moments reflecting the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan were experienced.
Expressing his satisfaction with MEDEM’s wide range of educational activities — including ebru, illumination (tezhip), amigurumi, alternative medicine, diction, practical English, practical Arabic, funeral services, family seminars, reading programs, online talks, and preschool child development — which serve primarily BEUN students as well as academic and administrative staff and the citizens of Zonguldak, Rector Özölçer stated:
“I am very pleased to be together with our students at this meaningful iftar table filled with the blessings of Ramadan. I would like to thank all our dear students who joined us this evening and wish them success in their upcoming exams. I also extend my sincere gratitude to our Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuran Çetin, along with all our academic and administrative staff who contributed to the organization of this meaningful event. I congratulate the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University family on the holy month of Ramadan.”
