The Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) family attended the ceremony held for Zonguldak Deputy Governor Muammer Balcı, who passed away following an illness.
The ceremony held in front of the Zonguldak Governor’s Office was attended by Zonguldak Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu, AK Party Zonguldak Deputy Ahmet Çolakoğlu, Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem, Zonguldak Chief Public Prosecutor Gökhan Kapağan, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, provincial protocol, the late Muammer Balcı’s family and relatives, and the BEUN family.
During the ceremony, prayers were offered for the late Muammer Balcı and those present were asked to grant their blessings. Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy and the BEUN family expressed their condolences to the family and relatives of the late Balcı.
Following the ceremony, the body of Deputy Governor Muammer Balcı was sent off to his hometown, Amasra district of Bartın, for burial.
