The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, commented on this meaningful event as follows:

“It is our principle to provide qualified education opportunities not just in technical, health, or education-related areas but in the humanities and social sciences. It is a big gain for us that one of the valuable scholars in Türkiye, Prof. Dr. İhsan Fazlıoğlu, teaches “Introduction to Philosophy” in the Department of Philosophy, which started to accept students as of the 2025-2026 Academic Year. Having the opportunity to learn from such a professor not only enhances their horizons but also strengthens their critical thinking skills. I would like to take the opportunity to thank esteemed Prof. Dr. İhsan Fazlıoğlu for adding value to our university and wish a successful academic life for our students. Students of the Department of Philosophy had the opportunity to make use of the rich experience and knowledge of Prof. Dr. İhsan Fazlıoğlu on topics such as the meaning of life, epistemology, ethics, and the main principles of Philosophy.
