The ERASMUS+ KA220 School Education project named “LEARN DEEP CODE AI” coordinated by Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Kdz. Ereğli Vocational School Lecturer Dr. Yasin Özkan has been deemed worthy of support by the Greek National Agency.
Under the “LEARN DEEP CODE AI” project, students and teachers will receive various trainings in artificial intelligence and coding and have the opportunity to develop 21st century skills with activities such as data labeling, model training and digital content creation.
While the coordination of the project is carried out by the 50 Geniko Lykeio Petroupolis in Greece, Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University and Keşap Science High School represent Türkiye in the international partnership. Other partners include Solski Center Slovenj Gradec representing Slovenia, Instituto Nossa Senhora da Encarnação representing Portugal, and Tallinna Kesklinna Vene Gümnaasium representing Estonia.
The “LEARN DEEP CODE AI” Project received a score of 92 in the review, ranking 3rd nationwide in Greece, and was awarded 250000 Euros.
Commenting on the Project, the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer stated:
“LEARN DEEP CODE AI” coordinated by Lecturer Dr. Yasin Özkan and supported by the Greek National Agency, provides an international learning and collaboration opportunity for both our students and academic staff.
Through this project, our students will have the opportunity to acquire significant skills in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and coding, model training and digital content creation. Moreover, they will broaden their global perspective by gaining international experience.
