As part of this effort, our undergraduate program in Labour Economics and Industrial Relations (Turkish) has been comprehensively evaluated throughout the accreditation process, including our student-centered approaches, curriculum structure, the quality of our academic staff, and our qualified research activities. As a result of this evaluation, the full accreditation granted to our program by the Social, Human and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR) confirms the strength of both our educational infrastructure and academic staff. This full accreditation represents a significant source of prestige for both our current students and our alumni. Considering the vital role that disciplines such as Labour Economics and Industrial Relations play in today’s social and economic development, this achievement holds great importance for us. Indeed, our university aims not only to impart knowledge, but also to train individuals who can think analytically, solve problems, and who possess social responsibility and competencies recognized nationally and internationally. With this mission, and building on our university’s 101-year legacy as a house of science, the level we have reached today also contributes significantly to our regionally and nationally oriented development vision.
In this context, I extend my sincere thanks to the STAR administrators for their dedicated work in the accreditation process, as well as to all academic and administrative staff and our dear students who contributed to this success and to BEUN’s international visibility and commitment to quality education. We will continue to work diligently to ensure that each of our undergraduate and graduate programs is crowned with similar quality certifications.”
