Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) welcomed its students who joined the BEUN community for the 2026–2027 Academic Year at bus terminals across Zonguldak, including Zonguldak City Center, Karadeniz Ereğli, Çaycuma, Devrek, and Alaplı.
BEUN academic and administrative staff serving at the information points established at the intercity bus terminals helped young students who had just arrived in the city adapt more easily. Providing them with detailed information about campus life, transportation within the city, and KYK dormitories, the representatives helped students feel safe and at home.
Rector Ulusoy: “We Are with Our Students from the Moment They First Arrive in Our City and University”
In his remarks on the information points, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy stated the following:
“All students who have become a part of the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University community are our responsibility. We believe it is of great importance for young students to feel that we are with them from the very beginning as they prepare for the future through their academic journey. With this in mind, we welcomed our students with our representatives and informed them about our campuses, KYK dormitories, and the city.
With our student-focused and 24/7 living university vision, we will not merely prepare them for professional life. We will also make every effort to be there for them in all aspects of life, support them in social, cultural, and sporting activities, and graduate them as strong individuals contributing to the Türkiye Century.
I extend my thanks particularly to my valuable colleagues who contributed to this organization, the Zonguldak Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, and the city and district municipalities. I wholeheartedly congratulate all our students joining the BEUN community and wish them health, happiness, and success in their academic lives.”
