
Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) has added a new initiative to its university-industry collaborations aimed at supporting students’ career development. Within this framework, a Long-Term Internship Program cooperation protocol was signed between BEUN and Eren Enerji.
The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer and Eren Enerji Human Resources Manager Emre Erden signed the protocol in the ceremony held at the Rectorate Senate Hall. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Servet Karasu, BEUN Career Planning Application and Research Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seda Tapdık Terzioğlu, Eren Enerji Organizational Entrepreneurship Manager Ender Dombaycı and Talent and Recruitment Manager Emre Kargidan were present during the ceremony.
With the protocol, it is aimed to provide internship opportunities for BEUN students at Eren Enerji Electric Production Inc. as part of the Long-Term Internship Program. It is also aimed to provide students with the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge and get to know the business world. The protocol is expected to strengthen the university-industry collaboration in the long term.
The principles and guidelines for the Long-Term Internship Program that are to support the professional development of BEUN students were determined within the framework of the protocol.

In his remarks on the protocol, the Rector of BEUN Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration with Eren Enerji and added:

With the protocol signed with Eren Enerji, our students will be well-equipped for their professional life thanks to the sector-related experience they achieve before they graduate. Thanks to the collaboration, BEUN students will be able to have sector-related experience before they graduate and the by increasing the university-industry interaction, application-focused educational approach and qualified information production will be supported.
