Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), one of the most established higher education institutions, was the preferred choice for women over 34 according to the 2025 University Entrance Exam placement results.

Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) was among the preferred universities among women over 34 according to the 2025 University Entrance Exam placement results. At the end of the placement results within the scope of the special quota designated for women over 34 by the Council of Higher Education (YOK), 80 women were placed in associate programs, and 22 in the undergraduate programs. A total of 102 students were placed at BEUN, and 80% of them enrolled in their programs.

The majority of the students over 34 are from Ankara, İstanbul, and Zonguldak, as well as the cities nearby, including Kocaeli, Bursa, Sakarya, Eskişehir, and Karabük. With Çanakkale, İzmir, Mardin, and Hatay, students from a total of 19 cities enrolled in BEUN.

With the 2025 placements, a total of 338 students are officially at BEUN, and 27 of whom were qualified to graduate. According to the 2025 placement results, 70% of the students who were placed at BEUN had BEUN in their top 5 choices, proving the trust they have in the university.
 

Commenting on the placement results, the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, stated the following:

“Our university provides an education opportunity for individuals at every age with its support for lifelong learning. The special quota designed for women over 34 by YOK contributes to the development of equal opportunity and the increase of opportunities for women's education. It is a sign of our accessible and inclusive education policy that students preferred our university for this special quota.

Today, we have a total of 338 students at our university and 27 alumni. BEUN contributes to social diversity and inclusive policy with its 32020 students. Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University  will continue to protect opportunity equality and provide education for all students from all parts of society.”
