Rector Özölçer highlighted that, in line with Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University’s student-centered, sustainable, and socially responsible educational approach, the School of Foreign Languages stands out with its multifaceted activities. He underlined the importance of initiatives conducted in areas such as social responsibility, environmental awareness, combating addiction, cultural and sportive activities, and internationalization, in addition to academic achievements. In his remarks, Rector Özölçer stated:
“Our School of Foreign Languages has implemented numerous activities ranging from energy efficiency and zero-waste initiatives to Erasmus+ projects and in-service training programs, all of which support our students’ social, cultural, and academic development. Orientation programs for preparatory students, practices encouraging library use, awareness-raising activities to combat addiction, and national and international collaborations are concrete indicators of our school’s visionary approach.”
Rector Özölçer also noted that these efforts have been further strengthened through activities carried out within the scope of Article 46 (Additional) of the Higher Education Law No. 2547.
