
The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, hosted the Chief Advisor to the President, Saadet Oruç, in his office.
BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer and Chief Advisor Saadet Oruç were accompanied by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Şenol Hakan Kutoğlu, Prof. Dr. Bekir Hakan Bakkal, and Prof. Dr. Servet Karasu, as well as the Secretary General Prof. Dr. Zehra Safi Öz.
During the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Özölçer informed Chief Advisor Saadet Oruç about the university’s recent academic studies, successes at national and international levels, and projects conducted in the fields of research, development, and social contribution. Prof. Dr. Özölçer emphasized the fact that the university comes forward not only with scientific production, but also with the social, cultural, historical, and sports projects carried out with public institutions, the private sector, and nongovernmental organizations. He also noted that the university has a vision that prioritizes the multifaceted development of the students.
Stating the gratitude he had for the visit, Rector Özölçer said:
“We are incredibly honored by the visit of Ms. Saadet Oruç, the Chief Advisor. At Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, we will continue to pursue our academic achievements with an approach that integrates them into and to contribute to the regional and national economy with our scientific studies. I, hereby, would like to thank Saadet Oruç for her kind visit.”
Chief Advisor of the President, Saadet Oruç, expressed her satisfaction with the kind hospitality and stated that BEUN holds an important position in the academic community with its studies from engineering and sports to health and education. Emphasizing the pride she takes in the qualified work of the university, hearing the name of Zonguldak with the achievements the students and academic staff attained, Saadet Oruç thanked Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer for his visionary management approach that is behind this success and wished success for the BEUN Family in their endeavors.
