
The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, hosted the Ambassador of Hungary to Ankara, Victor Matis, in his Office.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Servet Karasu, Director of Liszt Institute Hungarian Cultural Center Áron Sipos, Deputy Director Gergő Kovács, academic member at Teoman Duralı Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Yücel Namal were present during the visit.
Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer expressed his thanks to Ambassador Victor Matis and his delegation for their kind visit and informed them about the academic accomplishments of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University on the national and international levels. Prof. Dr. Özölçer also mentioned the social, cultural, historical, and sports projects carried out in cooperation with public institutions and the private sector, and activities that contribute to the multi-faceted development of students.
Hungary Ambassador Victor Matis expressed his gratitude for the kind hospitality and stated that BEUN holds a significant place in the academic community with its academic studies from humanities and sports to philology and education. He stated that he was pleased with the accomplishments of the university and thanked Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer for his support. He also wished success to the entire BEUN family in their endeavors.
