Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu, Rector of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBÜ), in his office.

​During the meeting held at the AYBÜ Rectorate, discussions focused on academic developments between the two universities, quality-oriented studies in higher education, and the social contribution activities of the institutions.

​Expressing his gratitude to Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu for his kind hospitality, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer provided information regarding the university's recent academic achievements at both national and international levels, as well as its research and development (R&D) activities. Özölçer stated that BEUN conducts studies that contribute to the multifaceted development of students, not only in the academic field but also through social, cultural, historical, artistic, and athletic projects implemented in cooperation with public institutions and the private sector. Highlighting the importance of collaboration in higher education, Özölçer also touched upon the university's projects supporting regional development and the steps taken in line with its internationalization vision.

​AYBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu thanked Rector Özölçer for his kind visit and remarked that BEUN’s academic performance and developmental momentum in the field of higher education in recent years are highly gratifying. Stating that BEUN holds a significant position among higher education institutions through its work in the national and international academic community, Köseoğlu expressed that they follow the university's achievements with appreciation.

​Prof. Dr. Köseoğlu congratulated the entire BEUN family in the person of Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer and expressed his wishes for the university's scientific, academic, and social contributions to continue increasingly, wishing success and ease in the ongoing endeavors.

​At the conclusion of the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer presented the work titled “Bir Asırlık Birikim, Yeni Bir Vizyon: Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit Üniversitesi” (A Century of Experience, A New Vision: Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University). —which highlights the social initiatives and academic successes demonstrated by the university in national and international arenas between 2022 and 2025—to Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu.
