Director of The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of University Programs in Mathematical, Natural, and Social Sciences (FEDEK) Board Prof. Dr. Sadullah Sakallıoğlu visited the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer.

The Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, hosted the Director of The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of University Programs in Mathematical, Natural, and Social Sciences (FEDEK) Board, Prof. Dr. Sadullah Sakallıoğlu, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Kadir Demir, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Afşin Kürşat Gazanfer in his office at the Farabi Campus. During the meeting, evaluations were made on the enhancing the quality of education and training at the university, improving accreditation process, and developing collaborations to be carried out in this context.

Rector Prof. Dr. Özölçer expressed his gratitude for their kind visit and emphasized that BEUN’s accreditation by the Council of Higher Education(YÖK) for a period of five years shows a significant success of the university. He also shared information regarding the accreditation processes of newly established departments and programs under application, underlying the university’s strong commitment to quality assurance.

Director of the FEDEK Executive Board, Prof. Dr. Sakallıoğlu, conveyed his gratitude to BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer for his hospitality and expressed his appreciation for the university’s successful efforts in the fields of quality assurance and accreditation.
